Machined from premium raw 1018 low-carbon steel, these studs provide excellent weldability and maximum penetration without the risk of cracking. Because they arrive in a clean, raw finish, they are ready to weld directly to your frame, housing, or axle bracket right out of the box or where ever your heart desires—saving you valuable prep time in the shop. Each stud features a precision-machined 5/8″ shoulder to fit standard shock eyes perfectly, stepping down to a 1/2″ fine thread for maximum clamping force.
⚠️ Installation Note: These studs feature a true 5/8″ pin diameter. To ensure a proper fit, you must remove the inner metal sleeve from your shock absorber’s rubber or polyurethane bushing before sliding the shock onto the stud. Make sure the inner bsuhing diamter measures 5/8 before ordering please.
